As winter approaches I would like to express the importance of checking on and watching out for our elderly or home bound neighbors. Many people have no way to shovel there snow covered walks or take there garbage containers to the curb. I encourage our citizens to be mindful of those in need and take the time to get to know each other better in case a situation arises. As my first full year as Chief of Police approaches I would also like to keep encouraging all citizens to acknowledge the hard work of those in our community by sending letters and by making calls to myself and Mayor Seghini. It is important that we know what is on your mind and to give credit to those getting the job done. Thank you to the many citizens working hard to keep Midvale safe and productive. Again I encourage the citizens of Midvale to get involved by joining the Neighborhood Watch Program and the Community Oriented Police Program. Officers are assigned to areas around Midvale that are available to assist you. Part of a good crime prevention program is getting to meet the officers that will be protecting you, your family, your homes and businesses. Officers are available to give safety talks, crime awareness presentations and demonstrations to groups of all sizes and ages. Click Here for the names of the officers assigned to your area.

I welcome everyone to visit our station and help us by getting involved so we can all enjoy being a part of this great community.
