Midvale Police and the Safe Midvale Committee participate in and help with many city events. Several times a year the Safe Midvale Committee offers our citizens a crime prevention class on topics of your choosing. Let Officer Ken Davis, 256-2512, know what topics you would like to hear.

March 23, 2006 Thursday night, 7PM-8PM, Midvale Police station, 7912 S Main Street. Neighborhood Watch 101, come learn the basics of Neighborhood Watch and what you can do to lower crime in your neighborhood. We will also introduce our new Midvale Neighborhood Watch manual. Snacks and door prizes.

April 22, 2006 Saturday, 11AM-2PM, at the Midvale Boys and Girls Club, 7631 S Chapel Street (415 W). Child Safety Fair sponsored by the Midvale Youth Peer Court. Come see booths by various agencies regarding the safety of your child.

May 18, 2006 Thursday, 7PM-8:30PM, Midvale Police station, 7912 S Main Street. Gang info taught by Metro Gang Squad. Parents come learn about gangs and recognizing if your child is in a gang. This class is restricted to ages 19 and above.
